Highly tempered steel is immersed in a liquid, hot zinc bath, a metallurgical solid connection is created and this offers the highest level of corrosion protection and is extremely resistant. These hot-dipped hot-dip galvanized bottles are lighter in weight, no paint, no scratches.
The new hot dipped bottles are shiny silver / gray with various color nuances and an irregular surface structure. The bottles darken after a short time.

The following information applies to hot dipped bottles in addition to our general operating instructions for steel bottles or diving equipment:
- The bottle must not be painted. Only where the next stamp comes after a repeat test may the spot be repaired using zinc paint.
- Feet are easier to assemble / disassemble if they have been previously immersed in 50 degree warm water.
- The breathing gas to be filled must be dry and free of impurities.
- Always rinse the bottle with plenty of fresh water after use. If necessary, the bottle can be cleaned with a nylon bust and water. Never use acidic cleaning agents. Storage must take place in a dry environment.
- Do not use sandpaper, files, or any other tool to remove material from the bottle.
- Do not attempt to hot dip galvanize other steel bottles. The hot-dip galvanizing of steel bottles requires a special quality of the steel used and the corresponding know-how.
